Peermatch collects and uses for the use of its digital services personal data in compliance with the statutory regulations, especially the German Telemedia Act and the German Federal Data Protection Act.
Your personal data will be used to the extent that it is necessary for the justification, development, provision or modification of the digital services. Peermatch uses your personal data for the purpose for which you have provided to us. Your data will only be used for advertising purposes to the extent permitted by law or with your consent. Your data will be deleted once the reason for having collected the data ceases to apply and after the legal retention period has expired.
2. Collection and use of data
2.1 Access to digital services
Upon accessing our digital services, the following data is temporarily stored in a log file: particularly the IP address, the date and time of the said access, web browser/ operating system as well as the message whether the request was successful. Such access data contain no reference to a person. This data is evaluated solely for statistical purposes and for the improvements of our services and is then deleted.
2.2 Registration for digital services
For a personalized use of our digital services you have to register yourself. We collect the following personal data as mandatory data, first name and surname, email address (inventory data) and the user name you have selected and your password. These mandatory data are necessary to enable the use of our user-defined digital services and to contact you. Furthermore, you may provide further data on a voluntary basis within the framework of the use of our digital services, e.g. for the participation in chat dialogues or using web forms (content data). Chat dialogues will be stored after registration. You may change or delete your data provided in the course of registration if needed at any time.
